A notary's main functions are to administer oaths and affirmations, take affidavits and statutory declarations, witness and authenticate the execution of certain classes of documents, take acknowledgments of deeds and other conveyances, protest notes and bills of exchange, provide notice of foreign drafts, prepare marine or ship's protests in cases of damage, provide exemplifications and notarial copies, and perform certain other official acts, depending on the jurisdiction​.

​     ​​ Matthew Stewart is a native of Hancock County, Tennessee, and has lived in White Pine since 2006. He obtained his notary training from The National Notary Association, and has been a notary for Tennessee since 2010, and is also a Kentucky Special Commission Notary Public. He was ordained in 2007 as a Primitive Baptist Minister.



    Jonathan Stewart is a native of White Pine, Tennessee. He is a first term notary for Tennessee and Kentucky, and has been trained by The National Notary Association, and Notary2Pro. Before becoming a notary, he worked as an office assistant to Matthew, where he was trained on the proper notary public practices and procedures.
